Our temple road trip!

So we left on Friday afternoon for our scheduled temple tour at 415. With a short stop at Auntie Heather's to print our reservation and map we were on our way. The drive to Safford took just over 2 hours. It was a very nice drive once we got past Benson. We had never been to this part of Eastern Arizona so it was an adventure for all of us. We made it to the Stake Center for the video by 400 and were ready to go. The kids were excited and loved watching the video and playing with the pamplets. Rich was very good inside but, Abby had a hard time being quiet. Their favorite part was the indoor swimming pool on the back of the oxen. They didn't like that it was a font and Abby our pure animal lover wanted to see the oxen face to face. After the tour we were able to take pictures outside and enjoy the provided refreshments. We tried to meet up with our sister missionaries but, they had worked a morning shift. We ran into some sisters in Walmart and they tracked down one of the missionaries that baptised Richard. She was able to come over and meet us. She was transfered to Silver City, New Mexico shortly after the baptism. We were glad we got a last chance to see Sister Jaeger before she returns home to Germany in 2 weeks.

That temple looks very similar to the Oquirrh Mountain one they put in here where we live. That's the one we go to. It is simply gorgeous! Temples are the BEST!!
